Aidan Walsh comes from Johannesburg, South Africa and now lives in Yamanashi, Japan. He works full time running a language school, looking after his family of four, and spends time training in the mountains in his free time. He learned his love for the outdoors in the Drakensburg mountains of Kwazulu Natal and now runs and trains in the South Alps of Japan. After seeing a group of adventure runners tackle the highest peaks near his school as a boy he has been fascinated by moving quickly through mountainous terrain. So grateful to get a chance to run with world class athletes, his dream is to turn pro and win the Drakensburg Ultra.
